Thought for the day

"When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don't throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer."

- Corrie Ten Boom, author and Holocaust survivor

Beautiful words from Ms Ten Boom... Terribly hard to do at times... Just as well, tht we have been given a Helper, to assist and encourage us. "Human wisdom is so tinny, so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength can't begin to compete with God's "weakness." (1 Corinthians 1:25)

Blessings my dear friends

Yes,
I have found this so true.
It's hard to let go.
Good preaching from the late Ms. Ten Boom.
She knew what she was speaking of.
Praise to the Engineer!

that's a great analogy. When you put it like that, it makes a person sound crazy to jump off the train during a dark point!

I love Corie Ten Boom. She is an amazing woman. I am blessed by something different every time I read her book. Has anyone seen her movie, "The Hiding Place"? It's really good.
